Le 1er novembre 2024, « Songs of a Lost World », l'album acclamé par la critique et nominé aux Grammy Awards, est sorti. Le soir de sa sortie, The Cure a interprété l'album en intégralité pour la première et unique fois au Troxy de Londres devant 3 000 fans.

« The Cure: The Show of a Lost World » est un film remanié, remixé et remasterisé de ce concert de 31 titres. Réalisé par Nick Wickham, nominé aux Grammy Awards, avec un nouveau mixage surround signé Robert Smith.
